Byard Slocumb came to Finley in 1936 and has been in the potato business all of his adult life, as farmer, buyer and seller. Very active in Scottish Rite. He is 33rd deg Honorary Inspector General in the Kennewick Bodies. His father was master of Kennewick Lodge #153 in 1950. He was Worshipful Master in 1972.

Brother Fred Esvelt, President of Columbia Basin College addressed the Lodge on "Democracy, the Public Schools” during our celebration of Public School Week.

W. Brother Robert Monroe gave a report on the various activities and programs of the York Rite Bodies.

September, 1972
W. Brother Floyd Hutchins was presented with a 40 year jewel. Brother Floyd is a charter member of Kennewick DeMolay.

October, 1972
W. Brother Gene Spaulding presented hi 40 year jewel. R.W. Brother Clyde Mix spoke on "The Spirit of Masonry” at Past Master’s dinner.

November, 1972
Brother Jay Perry gives "History of Kennewick and the Lodges” and reports he has known a11 but two of the Past Masters of the Lodge
