1955

John M. Wilson came to Kennewick in 1944 as an employee of Du Pont Corporation and later with General Electric in Richland. He has been Treasurer for 15 years. He was Worshipful Master of the Lodge in 1955.

1955
Degree work slackened a bit during this year. Records show there were only 108 degrees exemplified --40 E.A. degrees, 36 F.C. degrees and 32 M.M. degrees. There were 31 special meetings including six funeral services.

After many committee meetings, and much effort on the part of all, it was announced at the Grand Communication in Olympia that Kennewick Lodge #153 would host the Grand Communication of the Worshipful Master Grand Lodge in 1956.

Another honor coming to Kennewick Lodge #153 was the appointment of Brother Gene L. Spaulding as Grand Orator for the Grand Lodge for 1955-1956.

Installation of officers for 1956 was held on December 16, 1955. Officers installed were: W.M. Hal Brutzman; S.W. Virgil Masters; J.W. Delos Geiger; Treasurer W.R. Gravenslund; Secretary P.0. Stone.
