1954
This again was a very eventful year with a total of 124 degrees being exemplified--29 E.A. degrees, 52 F.C. degrees and 43 M.M. degrees. There were 32 special meetings and five funeral services. This included Brother Mark M. Moulton, a stalwart in #153 and the Scottish Rite for many years. Business activity in the community was halted for an hour during services for this distinguished brother.

In September, the first mention was made to consider asking the Grand Lodge to have its Grand Communication in Kennewick in 1956.

Installation of officers for the year 1955 was held on December 18, 1954. Officers installed were: W.M. John Wilson; S.W. Hal Brutzman; J.W. Virgil Masters; Treasurer W.R. Gravenslund; Secretary Paul 0. Stone.
