1947

Worshipful Master Walt Knowles and his officers continued to be constantly busy with degree work. Not only were there many brothers raised through initiation, but Kennewick Lodge was receiving many members from other lodges through affiliation.

In May 1947, two brothers - James Johnston and Wm. L. Craver – were honored with fifty-year pins and fifty-year certificates. V. W. Brother Oscar Hanson, Gr. Deputy, was a special visitor on this occasion, and it was he who made the presentations in behalf of M. W. Brother Gustaf H. Schultz, Grand Master. Brother Mark Moulton paid tribute to Brother Johnston and pinned the 50-year pin, while Brothers Paul and Jim Craver, sons of Wm. Craver, paid tribute to their father.
