1946 Harvey F. (Pat) Owens was Master of the Lodge in 1946. He was born in Hartline, Washington, and moved to Kennewick with his parents in 1903. He spent his youth and young manhood in the cattle punching and rodeo business. He later took up wheat farming until his retirement when he moved to Kennewick and presently resides. 1946 Our members noted to have meetings all summer on each Wednesday. In December, 1946, owing to the coal strike and the shortage of coal, the Master announced there would not be any more special meetings until the strike was settled and we had plenty of coal to heat the building. |
