Milton Libby, the 39th Worshipful Master of Lodge #153 F & AM, was born in Richfield, Minnesota, January 1, 1906. He arrived in Kennewick in 1925. He operated a barber shop prior to his becoming a salesman for Layrite Concrete Company in Kennewick and Portland. He was Worshipful Master in 1944, having been installed December 20, 1943.

February 2, 1944
Moved and seconded that the $2,200 received from Hanford Lodge be placed in the Thomke Fund. Carried.

December 5, 1944
Request was received for the formation of a Lodge in Richland. After some discussion the request was approved.

December 20, 1944
Brother Gene Spaulding was elected Worshipful Master for 1945.

December 27, 1944
Brother Gene Spaulding was installed as Worshipful Master for 1945.

This being a busy year for degree work, there was very little business conducted except for reading of minutes, paying bills, and reading and voting on petitions. There were 23 members raised which are listed below.
