Howard S. Whitbeck came from Schenectady, New York, in 1911. He was Superintendent for the Pacific Power and Light Company until his retirement in 1948. Presently residing in Walla Walla. He is a 50-year member. He was Worshipful Master in 1939. Holder of Grand Cross of Color for Rainbow.

Brother H. S. Whitbeck was installed as Worshipful Master by Brother W. S. Green, installing officer.

Brother J. R. Ayers proposed that the Lodge purchase the Washington Building. No action taken.

May 17, 1939
Moved and seconded that the name of the library fund be changed to emergency fund and the balance be used to buy 50 grave markers. Carried.

October 18, 1939
Brother Charles Knowles presented an American Flag to the lodge.

December 20, 1939
Election of officers was held and J. E. Millard was elected Worshipful Master.
