E. C. (Cy) Smith was Worshipful Master of the Lodge in 1930. He operated a Ford dealership in Kennewick, for many years until World War II caused its closure. He later became manager of Kennewick's first Federal Housing project until his retirement.

Brother Charles Powell gave a short talk on the community chest and what was expected to be accomplished by accepting it.

April 2, 1930
Moved and seconded that the Lodge donate $25 to the Community Chest. Motion lost. Moved and seconded that the Lodge donate $20 to the community. Motion passed.

September 3, 1930
Moved and seconded that the secretary be instructed to write Hanford Lodge asking them to ask this Lodge for help for a Brother who is sick and needs help. We want this to base our request to Grand Lodge for help in this case.

September 17, 1930
Moved and seconded that this lodge pay for the care of the Brother and that the Grand Lodge officers be told that we had spent all that we can. Relief to Brother $50.00

October 1, 1930
Grand Lodge took over the bills for the care of the Brother.

October 15, 1930
A discussion about celebrating the 25th anniversary of this lodge. W. S. Green, L. E. Johnson, R. Q. McMahan and H. Shanafelt were appointed to prepare a program.

November 5, 1930
Letter was read from the Grand Secretary with a check for $95.10 to cover expenses for care of the Brother. Letter was sent to Grand Lodge informing them that the Brother had left a will with everything left to Grand Lodge and that they should pay the funeral expenses.

December 3, 1930
Moved and seconded that the Lodge authorize the expenditure of $100 for the 25th anniversary. Moved and seconded that the motion be amended to authorize the expenditure of $200 for the 25th anniversary. Moved and seconded that a substitute to the original and amended motion be that this lodge appropriate $125 for the expenses of the 25th anniversary. Carried.
