Captain J. W. Vickers came to Kennewick from the Philippines in 1915. He was a fruit grower and organized the Highland Fruit Growers Association. He was Worshipful Master in 1922.

December 13, 1922
This meeting was called for the purpose of action on the request of Hanford for forming of a Lodge. It was moved and seconded that Hanford be allowed Dispensation for the formation of a Lodge to be known as Hanford Lodge. Motion was carried.
December 27, 1922
This meeting was called for the purpose of a joint installation with Alma Chapter #100 Order of the Eastern Star. W. L. Craver was installed as Worshipful Master of Kennewick Lodge.
