Brother Robert Q. McMahon was Worshipful Master of Kennewick Lodge #153 in 1921. He was a successful fruit grower in the Kennewick Highlands for many years. He later moved to town where he was employed as an accountant until his retirement. He was a very active member and participated in a11 the Masonic organizations including our youth groups. He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

January, 1921
Special meeting to be called for Wednesday, February 23, for Washington Birthday Program for Masons, families and friends.

February, 1921
Lodge votes $5 per month to support one child under "Near East Relief Fund.” Carried.
$2 assessment per member suggested and secretary to mail cards of notification.

March, 1921
Motion to change meeting nights to Fridays. Failed. Motion to change meeting nights to Thursdays. Failed.

April, 1921
$10 voted to Washington Children's Home. Committee of three appointed to act with committee of three from Scottish Rite to explore rental of lodge Hall. Lodge sells property willed to lodge for sum of $8,000 with $2,000 down payment.

December, 1921
Lodge bought ½ interest in three-burner oil stove, not to exceed $18.50. Rent to I.O.O.F. Encampment raised to $5 per meeting. John W. Vickers elected and installed Worshipful Master for 1922. Annual audit committee show lodge $20.50 overdrawn at end of year.
