Brother Edward 0. Keene was Worshipful Master of Kennewick Lodge #153 in 1920. He was one of the first men to farm fruit in Kennewick. He later moved to Prosser where he was active and worked in several County offices until retirement.

January, 1920
Lodge voted to purchase $500 worth of War Savings Stamps. Lodge agrees to pay $35 per month rent to Mr. J. J. Reed beginning February 1, 1920, and to seek a lease for two or three years. Rent to I.O.O.F. raised to $25 per month. Brother Shirk moved a committee be appointed to look into the building of a Masonic Temple. Lodge voted to take options on sites for Masonic home.

February, 1920
Secretary to mail special notices to a11 members concerning purchasing future temple site. Also suggested the temple site committee look into purchasing old Rosemond Saloon Building. Special committee appointed to help Jr. Warden on sick committee due to many cases of “flu or grip". Ways and Means committee appointed for financing of building project for new temple.

March, 1920
Secretary allowed $1 special and regular meetings beginning January 1, 1920. Carried.

August, 1920
Plans begin to form Masonic Library. G. H. Shanafelt to head committee. Lease proposed with I.O.O.F. at $27.50 per month for hall and furniture to be used in a suitable manner. Carried. Donations being received for Masonic Library.

October, 1920
Brother C. F. Winkenwerder moved lodge purchase three new collars for the three officers. Carried.

November, 1920
Social Committee formed to look into formation of Masonic Club.

December, 1920
Lodge to visit Episcopal Church as a body on St. John's Day. More books being received and donations being accepted for Masonic Library. Brother Robert Q. McMahon elected and installed Worshipful Master for 1921. Joint installation with Eastern Star on December 29, 1921, at 8:00 p.m.
