1919

Brother Joseph K. Siegfried was Worshipful Master of the Lodge in 1919. His contributions to the community were many and varied. He was Superintendent of power for the Pacific Power Light Company until his retirement. He was a charter member of the Pasco Kiwanis Club and had many years of perfect attendance. He was the one person most responsible for the formation and construction of Kennewick's first golf course, now known as the Tri-City Country Club.

Brother Eddie Frauen moved lodge pay $25 to Alma Chapter and $1 to pay for nurse for Mrs. Soth. Carried.

February, 1919
Bills ordered paid -Pastime Billiard Parlor for Cigars -$5.75. (No explanation) Notes show $25 returned by Eastern Star. I.O.O.F. continue paying $15 per month rent. Grand Lodge 1918 report was $113.75.

March, 1919
Motion made that trustees enter into negotiations for sale of property of deceased Brother Henry Thanke and make a sale contract. Carried.

April, 1919
Secretary instructed to purchase a degree suit as old one was "plaid" out. Lunch to be served at Palace Cafe. Bill later submitted for $7 together with $5 to Kennewick Club for cigars.

May, 1919
Moved that Lodge purchase $1,000 worth of Liberty Bonds as soon as funds are available. Carried. Brother John E. Lauterback gave a talk on the war in France.

July, 1919
W. B. John J. Sercombe, charter member, called to rest on July 24, 1919. A suitable resolution passed and given to widow by L. E. Johnson, chairman of condolence committee.

September, 1919
Dr. LeGrande Spaulding gave an interesting talk on Masonry and with others presented a Souvenir plate. Brother G. H. Shanafelt moved lodge donate $10 to Salvation Army. Carried.

December, 1919
Rod stands purchased at cost of $6.60. E. 0. Keene elected Worshipful Master for 1920. Installation was public and held on December 27, 1919.
