Lawrence E. Johnson was Master of the Lodge in 1914. He moved to Kennewick in 1905. He was owner and President of Kennewick First National Bank in Kennewick for many years. He was founder of the L. E. Johnson Insurance Agency. He served as Mayor of Kennewick for three terms and was active in civic affairs for many years.

A motion was made by Brother F. M. Crosby that anyone being caught laughing or talking during raising a candidate or during the lecture be fined 50 cents by the Master. Motion, seconded, and carried.
July 1, 1914
Whereas the Grand Master of the Universe having seen fit to call from her labors to that celestial lodge above--the beloved wife of Brother Fred J. Kadow, our esteemed secretary and realizing that he and his family have suffered an unreparable loss, the members of this Lodge mourn with the family her demise and tender deepest and most sincere sympathy. Be it, therefore, resolved by Kennewick Lodge #153 F & A.M. at this their regular communication that a copy of this memorial be spread upon the minutes and that our Brother and his family be given a copy as a slight expression of our brotherly love and friendship done in open Lodge this first day of July, 1914.

Brother F. J. Wright reported that arrangements have been made with the IOOF to rent the ha11 at $15 per month. The IOOF will pay their own janitor service.

September 2, 1914
Owing to misconduct of the following Brothers, fines of 50 cents were levied against the following: Brother L. E. Johnson, Edgar Voegel, G. H. Shanafelt, Sig Feuchtwanger, and F. L. Watson. Brother J. G. Kelly was fined 50 cents for being late.

December 29, 1914
Lodge met in special communication for the purpose of installing officers.
