1906

John Sercombe was the first Master of Kennewick Lodge #153 F & AM. He arrived in Kennewick in 1902 with his wife and two daughters, Mae and Cora. Mr. Sercombe bought ten acres right in the city east of Washington Street on what is now 4th Street and planted it all to strawberries in what was one of the largest early strawberry fields.

The dues were $5 a year and cost of degrees was $40.

September 18, 1906, Brother Harry Elmer Dickerman of Kalispell Lodge  #42 of Kalispell, Montana, was the first brother to be made a member of Kennewick Lodge by affiliation.
